It ain't over until Jim White ejaculates at 11pm.

Re: Deadline Day...
It aint over til somebody pays £30million for Andy 'Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Do you mind if I sit?' Carroll.
Or when Benjani falls asleep at the airport, and the Premier League decide that midnight deadlines don't matter that much.

Yes - we sold Ritchie to Swindon and received some cash when he was sold to Bournemouth. Cascading sell-on clause though is unlikely.Pompey1985 wrote:Talk of Derby being in for Matt Ritichie, was there a sell on clause?

Re: Deadline Day...
Cannot understands the logic of Falcao moving from a Champs League team Monaco to Munt Utd with all of the attackers and only left sided defenders!
Only wage money can be the reason, but what sort of Tax dodge is going to happen comparing Monaco with a small estate in Cheshire?

Re: Deadline Day...
Simply not good enough in my opinion, shame really. Will be interesting to see if we get a replacement in.
I wonder if Connolly will find a new club today...

I doubt it. Club will have to bite the bullet soon re Connolly. Bird at least has offers.Pompey1985 wrote:I wonder if Connolly will find a new club today...

Without knowing the goings on in this situation, its a real shame we can't get the most out of DC as there are certain times when I think his experience and ability would serve us well over this season.Lost in Transportation wrote: I doubt it. Cant help but think we are a striker short at the moment assuming DC isn't going to pull on a shirt this season, and big pats scoring record / fitness.

Re: Deadline Day...
You might be right '85. Bird gone, no Connolly, ? mark over Paddy Agyemang, Craddock (who?) and Tarbuck injured too. But we've got Taylor, Storey (hope no recall clause) & Westcarr though have to agree 3 isn't enough if we're going to play 2 up top.
Only other spot of concern is maybe a right wing-back, but wondering if Awfs sees that as East's position?
Not bad otherwise. Hope Poke (GK) is over his injury, I suppose we can get in an emergency loan, plus there's always those out of contract.
