Re: Deadline Day...
....rumours are that Falcao has failed an extended medical at United. Wonders about Wellbeck deal. Don't think the best of him has been seen at club level yet. I know Balotelli cost £16m (maybe a great bit of business), but think Arsenal should be pleased with that (Shane Long costing 12m), if it's gone through.

Yeah....Welbeck....great bit of biz at 16 large and was wondering who Ars would have to buy at the last minute.
The Gunners are actually looking like England. Think he will be a real star there like Sturridge became at pool.

Re: Deadline Day...
Could do very well. With no Giroud, Arsenal certainly need a striker, and Sanchez is a wide/#10 not a out & out front man.
Felt that Welbeck has a lot of promise, showed big glimpses for England, but not quite 'trusted' (?) to play CF for United that much. He's got 3 months without serious competition for his place, and some decent players to create chances, I couldn't believe Wenger was going to sit idly by and not bring in someone. Think there could be a lot to come from Welbeck, might thrive on the responsibility.
Falcao *finally* signs for United meanwhile (half an hour after the hour's extension - but hey, it's Manchester..)
