He wasn't talking to Bridgend teenagers was he?

You'll have to explain that one to me Weybridge.
I'm only firing on lowbrow gags this morning
Michelle asked POTUS if he was having an affair with a woman from Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllatysiliogogogoch.
He said: “How can you say such a thing?”

Bridgend (small town in Wales) suffers an abnormally high teen suicide rate - more than double anywhere else in the country. And the weird thing is - they all hang themselves. The Cincinnati Kid wrote:You'll have to explain that one to me Weybridge.

I actually know Wales well.....Old man Kid is Welsh, spent much time living in Abertillary/Blaina...'bout 30 miles north of Newport.....and...apparently when I was a strapping young man of 6, Old man Kid had a naval posting to N. Wales and I used to come home from school speaking fluent Welsh. I can still count to 10 in Welsh but the rest is gone.

And it's not just Bridgend... around 50% of all towns suffer a higher than average teen suicide rate! "Have you ever been to Wales Baldrick?"
"No, but I've often thought I'd like to"
"Well don't, it's a ghastly place. Gangs of tough, sinewy men roam the hillsides, terrorising people with their close harmony singing. You need half a pint of phlegm in your throuat just to pronounce the place names. Ask for directions in Wales, you'll be washing spit out of your hair for a fortnight."

Can't remember the exact context but Baldrick says something like "Well he IS the Prince of Wales" and the exchange above follows.

President Ybymwy's going home in a Newport ambiwlans.
Ambiwlans?? Seriously? If ever there was a made up word for a language, that's it.

We haven't had this kind of media coverage in Wales since Cardiff got to the FA Cup final and we all know what happened then
