British guy tries to steal a policeman's gun (while he was still wearing it) in an attempt to kill Donald Trump. And that went exactly as you think it did.

And a Belgian national threatened to blow up a shopping precinct with an explosive belt. Made up of salt and biscuits. The police blew it up anyway. I guess bourbons give off some vicious shrapnel.

For every incompetent terrorist there are plenty of competent ones.....or else those happy to kit out and train the incompetents (because they'll never endanger themselves!).

And that is the sad truth, unfortunately.

Trying to steal an American cop's gun isn't terrorism, it's f*****g suicide.

Isn't it easier to just buy one at the local Walmart?

No, he would have had to have gone through the background checks that have been in place for years.

Only if they go through a dealer. However, a 'gun hobbyist' doesn't need to carry out any buyer checks before handing over that semi-automatic assault rifle to the short-tempered man with the twitching eye.

Last I knew, Walmart were dealers, which would only reinforce the remark made in retort to McGarvey...who isn't a God :-)
