Re: Cheltenham vs Pompey
Oh, and Chaplin was booked yet again (for dissent this time), and will be banned for the Luton game. See my post from the Mansfield game; I can't be bothered to write it again.Pompey Penguin wrote:Things we learned from the game...
We can't defend free kicks lumped into the penalty box.
We are dangerous when we get to the line and pull crosses back.
...alright, we learned nothing from the game we didn't already know.
Luton on Tuesday; home by bedtime!

Personally i'd take the money in January and get a couple of other players. Assuming an offer came in.Pompey Penguin wrote:Oh, and Chaplin was booked yet again (for dissent this time), and will be banned for the Luton game. Problem with that would be the backlash of the fans. He doesn't score as many as he should at the moment, we aren't going to keep him for ever and he is showing himself to be a bit of a petulant big time Charlie.
Get your man from Grimsby, and a centre back for the money.

I wouldn't have said this a few weeks, but I am in agreement with you about Chaplin. I'm sure part of the reason we are bringing Jamal Lowe in is to replace Conor anyway.Pompey1985 wrote:

I have seen Jamal Lowe play ( my part of the world )and he is a very useful player especially when paired with someone who feeds off his aerial ability . I wouldnt mind seeing Connor play alongside him for a bit and see how it works . I know its old school ( little & large ) but in Div 2 you can make it work I think .
