Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had emergency surgery on Saturday for a brain hemorrhage.

Fortunately, his doctors have given him 5 1/2 minutes of extra time to recover.

Hello?...Hell?....yes....I'd like to book a room for one please.

well, tbh,.....,and no personal attacks intended, I think that's a bunch of crap.
Humans have used humour in tough situations since the dawn of time. I give you from the falklands conflict...."Sarge...I've lost my leg. No you haven't son...it's over there." Plus various Space shuttle gags.....I could go on with a million examples.

Not only that, I think my hell reference covered the bases.

If you personally knew Sir Alex....then yeah....fair enough....my apologies.

I agree Cincinnati , some may find your joke offensive , others including me may have had a giggle . Sick jokes have been around for ages and will continue to do so .

Oh dear , I saw the original post last night and initially thought it was in bad taste but Fergie Time is real and I think that was the joke.
I think Cinc has given all of us a lot to laugh at and enjoy over the years and meant no disrespect.
Furness was at least encouraged to post [ good thing and hope you are well mate :thumb ] and I reckon all of us would wish Sir Alex all the very best for a speedy recovery.

I agree ISF , the Fergie time was the joke , and I don't think there is a poster on here would would not wish SAF a full recovery , like or loathe his team , the man is a genius .

appreciate the comments and of course Furness and anyone else can have an opinion and yeah....Fergie Time was the gag.
Sometimes the written word doesn't come across as intended.

Anyhoo....moving on, of course I hope that SAF recovers fully.

I smiled at the joke. If SAF gets Fergie Time then he will have a happy few more years with his family.

Nicked from somewhere else.

Just seen that Wayne Rooney has been to visit Sir Alex Ferguson.

"His speech is improving and he can now string a sentence together," said Fergie.
