The players who requested teams on the other thread have been randomly given these numbers and the list emailed to That's Rich in advance of this thread going out. Conversation with Dasha last night, as I finally started to get into World Cup mode:

Dasha: "Who did the US get?"
Me: "your lot didn't make it, but you can follow panama"
Dasha "Well, at least I can follow England for the first few days, till they're out, as I'm half English"

At least you didn't get Russia, perhaps I could ask Mr. Trump to call his mate Putin and cancel the tournament at the end of this match and declare Russia the winners!!

Blue Architect is the first casualty....... I have a sneaky suspicion that Saudia Arabia may be officially out after their next game.
