WTF Harrison and Harness off, replaced by Cannon and Williams. Early subs by Jacket. Strange.....

Final whistle and three points for Pompey.

Harrison had already been booked and does tend to put himself about and annoy referees. Could have been a good move from Jackett; anybody there know more?

Three points and a clean sheet in the North West, in January. That doesn’t often happen for us, whatever year it is.

Against the second worst team in the division. Forgive me if I don't get too excited

It’s winning against teams like this that will keep us in contention. Be happy!

1846 Pompey fans there. Well done them.

Well we lost 3-1 last time we played a team in the bottom 3 away from home so I'll take it as a positive.

Fair comment, rode our luck first half, couldn't cope with Traore playing through the middle in the second half but was always going to be a tough game.

Phew! MotM Alex Bass with some crucial stops. Need to get Whatmough into that rocky back line ASAP and Ollie Hawkins up front in place of dismal Marquis.

I'm fascinated by the 'love in' for Marquis. Don't get it myself. If I'd bought him I'd be looking for the receipt.

Made me laugh, SB.
I wonder if Sunderland would be prepared to do a straight swop: their big-money flop for ours. And if we can't get Will Griggs, I'd have their Marc McNulty, who is also out of favour at S'land, any day over Marquis.
