Coventry
Packed and ready to go. I lived in Coventry in the mid 60s. Watching them was like being at a mid week county cricket match. Polite applause but rarely much noise. My Coventry pals reckoned most of the crowd were not real locals but people like me who supported other teams and were new to the area. I'll be surprised if it's still the same tonight. I cannot quite believe we are going to make it ten in a row but you never know.
Looking back, I moved from Coventry to Peterborough and then to near Ipswich before returning to Hampshire in the 70s. And now we are all battling for promotion. Funny old world.

Re: Coventry
Shame Cannon is supposed to be out - wouldn't be the first time Kenny has played a fast one though.
I'm hoping Coventry play with three at the back like they apparently sometimes do - be good to get down the back of them.
Wonder if Harness will get a game tonight being a local lad (same ends as me) he would love to score the winner against a side that didn't want him. I went to school with his sister.

Re: Coventry
PUP! Big, big game. Both in form and a real test to see how far we have come in my opinion. Win this and my glass will definitely be well over half full
Re: Coventry
No better than average game so far, but not surprising as we're playing with 10 men (Marquis totally useless).
Re: Coventry
HT, 0-0. Close game, Coventry probably had the better of play. Seddon and Curtis just a bit off today so far, but Marquis has to go off for 2nd half, has done absolutely nothing. Coventry are a good team for sure, but we can still win this.

Re: Coventry
A tight untidy game on a bumpy pitch which could have gone either way.
Move on and concentrate on Saturday. Harrison must surely start.
