An absolutely staggering effort - in every sense!

And its now over £7million. If there was ever any doubt about the depth of public feeling for the NHS, its been summed up in this act. Both by Cpt Moore and the contributors.

I agree. Astonishing. Just a bl**dy shame that his daughter and son-in-law are using it to advertise their business

Now over £12.5m!

When you consider Sport Relief made £40m, he's done over 25% of that without leaving his garden.

Truly amazing. :smt026

This is not intended to be a negative post as there cannot really be negatives if the NHS are receiving millions and millions from donations, however I bet JustGiving are laughing all the way to the bank as they will have made over a million pounds from this incredible episode. Of course, they need to cover their costs and this is a small price to pay for having so much money going to such an excellent cause but it might be nice if they make a decent donation too. (perhaps they already have done so)

In times of dark news, this is such a brilliant "good news" story so well done JustGiving for making this incredible achievement possible, to all those who have donated and to the great man himself.

Total to date. £32,796,540. That's a lot of dosh.

Harry will be looking at this and thinking he could go for a little walk with Rosie and raise a few quid to help buy his football team.

I'm with you. Massive achievement and a nice feel good story but don't let it distract from the failings of the government.

I was going to say good Just Giving as their fees seem lower than other charities but tried to find out what their fees are and it's confusing! On one hand it says they have no "platform" fees but then they mention a 5% Processing Charge as well as 1.9% card charge?

Does this mean up to 6.9% which does seem quite a lot? Either way apparently the figure you see is the net figure once all fees are taken into account. Just a bit confusing trying to work it out.
