League One Players wages

Post by blueocean »

This is interesting. You can see why Mr Eisner doesn't want us to get promoted until we got more income

So the 2 highest paid players in our squad are unproductive forwards if we are not getting a contribution from the parent club I’d send them back and release those wages this window

How do they come up with these figures? Are they publically available?

Has to be a work of fiction, but can you imagine all those players and agents reading that and then demanding they/their protégés are easily worth as much as so and so, or getting pee'd off at teammates who are seemingly earning a shed load more than them :rofl

Its ridiculous to see Scarlett earning £12K pw with the other players averaging only one-third of that, many on £3-4K per week in comparison. I realise that he's here on loan and this is Tottenham's figure but his output goal-wise etc in return does not match it.

Which is one of the reasons I am not overly keen on the loan system, especially Cowley's reliance and enthusiasm for it.

If Scarlett is on £12k a week we will definitely not be paying for all of that or even half of it
