Someone resurrected the thread. The idea that Utd aren't a big club is laughable really. I dont like them but I have to acknowledge their fan base(which is world wide) & history is mahoosive.

I felt very strange after the West Brom semi final. Being old school, it was just the Final played at Wembley. So here we were having won in the FA Cup at Wembley and we had to come back to beat another Team to actually win the Cup. The 2010 semi was much better, we did not expect to beat Spurs. Like many others that was my favourite Pompey Wembley Match. When we were kids the FA Cup Final was virtually the only televised football match. It was a special occasion. I remember at Primary School( Solent Road) on the friday before the Final groups of the elder boys would parade around the playground chanting for the Team they had chosen to win! Happy Days!

I was ****** posting. I don’t literally believe they aren’t a big club. I put them in that 2000s Liverpool sort of position. Always the bridesmaid and never the bride.
