Champions League Final

Post by BlueinPLtwenty »

We are in Abruzzo Italy at the moment. When we arrived it was the second leg of the Milan derby. We went to the local bar for a drink and the match was on live TV there. The Natives from this small Village were mostly clad in `Inter` shirts screaming at the Television. Having just driven 500 miles that day we drank our drinks and left. I am debating whether I can persuade my Step-Son to go to the Bar and sing `Blue Moon` whilst we watch the game tonight. I`ll let you know!

Inter played brilliantly. That is, they played to their strengths with great energy and commitment. They were unlucky not to score. Man City were clearly the best team. A superbly crafted goal. They deserved to win. It’s a fact that luck plays such an important part in football. How often do we see a team outplayed yet win after a deflected shot ends up in the net or a lucky bounce lands just in the right place. It’s been a delight watching City this season and to see them achieve what they have. Roll on next season. Who will topple City?

Backs up the claim that our Premier League is the best in the world?
