Re: 10,000 season tickets sold!
Yes it is impressive especially when we are seeing money getting tighter all round. There was a fair bit of apathy towards the team last season with many people considering whether to renew or not, myself included. I think that there have been timely announcements and quotes from the club that have strengthened peoples confidence in the clubs ability to do far better next season. I include myself with that assessment. Added to the fact that the Pompey crowd are known for their loyalty so it remains to be seen whether the season ticket sales will match last season.

Now 13000 at the end of early bird person
Club only allowing another 1500 to be sold when the window reopens so keeping some seats for occasional buyers which seems fair to me

Now more than 13,200 season tickets sold before general release today, so up to a maximum of 14,500 can be sold. It’s looking promising, let’s hope the players and management take note.
Mark Hateley and Alan Biley made my favourite season.

That's a lot of new season ticket holders given how many weren't retaining theirs.

Yes it is good when many were considering not renewing, like myself. But then I bought mine within a couple of days of them being on sale. Mug for punishment or forever optimistic, I can't decide which.Pompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 7:18 pm That's a lot of new season ticket holders given how many weren't retaining theirs.

Re: 10,000 season tickets sold!
Yes, especially when I tried to get an extra ticket for my Granddaughter. I had one for my Grandsons but they got fed up with going with so much rubbish we were getting. So I didn't renew it last season and the seat was taken. The person I go with hasn't been too well and he missed a lot of last season because he couldn't really be bothered to make the extra effort and his Grandsons also got fed up with going. So I often had two spare tickets which both my Granddaughters took and got hooked, one especially by Zack Swanson. So I tried to get another ticket but there is none available near by.

My guess is that now the club has announced they are only selling a maximum of 14,500 that FOMO will kick in with those still undecided and most of, if not all the rest will sell. Incredible support, especially considering the state of the economy.

And the state of our football team, who currently, won't be pulling up many trees in League one. I pray I'm proven wrong.Selsey Bill wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 8:44 am My guess is that now the club has announced they are only selling a maximum of 14,500 that FOMO will kick in with those still undecided and most of, if not all the rest will sell. Cullen in the snooze today indicates that season tickets could be made available in January in the Milton End when complete
Interesting he is saying for league matches we have to give the away team up to 2000 and cup matches 3000 the league figure can only be due to segregation and to try and fill it as our allocation at some away games doesn’t reflect this percentage of the total capacity
