That's such a shame..perhaps this will help (taken from TMS commentary):
You know it's bad news when you are trawling the internet for ticket refund information...

According to the ECB major match tickets refund scheme:

For days one to four of the Test Match: If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) zero to 15 overs played - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 30 overs played - a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

ps. As you know, I live in Spain and just looked up our weather forecast which reads:

33°, 35°, 42°, 38°, 43°, 37°, 33° and full sun for the next seven days!!! That's hot!!! :smt100
Ho Hum. Don't you just love some people :rofl
By my reckoning we did 21.1 Aussie overs and 5 England overs, so should get some money back on the 5 tickets. Rather had a full days cricket though.
I need to eat humble pie to friends who I took the ****** out of who have day 4 tickets, telling them that it would be all over in three days.

Excellent test match. If only we could keep Wood and Archer fit we'd have some real pace.

England currently trying to get a first innings lead in this final test.

England scored 283 in that First Innings
Australia are currently 248 for 8 England into the "tail"

Australia put on 49 runs for the ninth wicket so ended the day with a first innings lead of 12 runs as their last wicket fell leaving no time for England to go into bat.

The difference between the two sides is so different. England with Bazball whizzing through like it is a T20, while the convicts are happy with 2-3 runs an over.

The Aussies in that 9th wicket stand were averaging seven runs an over

If they had taken that attitude (or one more aggressive than Labuschagne's 9 from 82 balls) then they would be in a commanding lead. But I take your point the balls out approach of the tailenders showed what they could achieve.

England all out for 395

Australia need 384 to win

Broad`s last shot in test cricket was a six. Now he needs at least 5 wickets to really end in style!

Have I missed the plot or are Australia playing out for a draw on a flat wicket, giving no help whatsoever to the bowlers? And that they have no hope of winning this match?
