Out of interest, at what age and how many leagues appearances does a player stop becoming one for the future?

No idea ask our recruitment team because based on experience and the fact Ogilvie was a stand out performer at left back he certainly isn’t being signed as a starter
He’s actually got quite a lot of experience for his age just the majority of it apart from last year is at a lower level
I’m not saying he’s a bad signing just not any better than we already have but at 22 he could improve and be an “asset”
However not a single signing of the 7 so far says to me we are building a promotion team it to me it says another year of consolidation but maybe let’s hope for a playoff place
Our squad now is in my opinion not better than that we finished with last season where are the players to improve the team
It’s been stated by the club we need 9/10 new additions if this is the best we can do so far then fine let’s get behind them and hope that statistics regarding past performances are rubbish because nothing so far has convinced me that we will be any better than last season but we will still follow the team home and away

When the snooze ran this a few weeks ago Pompey expats were not very complimentary about him or the standard of the Aussie league putting both a barely national league level
All really good prospects tend to be picked up early by clubs across Europe including his younger brother who is at Ipswich
