Re: Tonight's Friendly
Nothing scheduled on BBC Radio Solent. iFollow usually takes the BBC commentary so probably nothing on there either. Apart from the Fan's Forum (31st July from memoery?) my guess is that BBC coverage will only start with the first game of the season
The PFC website usually has a text commentary on the main points as the game progresses: looks like this will happen this evening. There may also be the same on the News website.
Milton End is entering a new era with Tornante

Re: Tonight's Friendly
Bishop, Saydee, Rafferty carrying a knock so are not playing tonight and Whyte and Yengi are not included in the 22 squad.
Slightly disappointed that none of the central strikers are getting 45 mins tonight. Only Scully and Lane from the forward players for this season will get on the grass tonight.

Suspected that might be the case. Cheers.Milton End wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 6:20 pmNothing scheduled on BBC Radio Solent. iFollow usually takes the BBC commentary so probably nothing on there either. I'm fairly certain your right with the forum as I remember it being when I'm was on holiday.

Re: Tonight's Friendly
HT 0-0
What is interesting is that Vincent playing as a wing back again appears to be most effective there for the second match in a row, maybe that’s where they see him if so that’s the other wide player just leaves a 8/10 needed

Re: Tonight's Friendly
What's really interesting is the non existence of ANY recognised Pompey strikers in the squad tonight??
Even in the second half where ALL have been subbed for new team

Re: Tonight's Friendly
Would you rather Bishop and Saydee had played with minor injuries in a pre-season friendly?
And that isn't quite true anyway, Sam Folarin is a striker from the academy and is playing the second half.

The Aussie lad is a week behind most of the squad in terms of pre season too.
