Ticket sales

Post by Pompey55 »

Just to note season ticket sales will end on 19th July at which point tickets for remaining seats go on sale at 1500 for the first 8 matches of next season obviously doesn’t include Milton End as those seats depend upon the take up by away teams

Over 14,300 season tickets sold, only under 200 left. Time to dig deep.
Mark Hateley and Alan Biley made my favourite season.

Is that 14,300 disillusioned people, I don`t think so. More like nearly fourteen and a half thousand excited at what is happening at Fratton Park!

Or possibly people like myself and family (we've added a fourth season ticket for my grandson this season) who will support the team come what may as long they give 100%.
From talking to others this I believe is a common factor rather than thinking all is fine remember 13500 were sold before any players were sold with most being renewals

Maybe the hole that needs plugging is our lack of an experienced creditable creative 8/10 getting that right would show real intent

I (and others) have been going on about this for years, and it has never happened - could this be the year?

We have played 433 last two games...
The last 2 games against very low quality teams when we only scored from 2 penalties when we lacked a creative 8/10
On a number of occasions last season we played
4-2-1-3 anyway playing 4-3-3 does not exclude the possibility of 2 holding midfield players and one playmaker in the middle 3
At present apart from Whyte with his record of assists from the wing and Scully chipping in a few from the other side we have very little creativity in the team unless Devlin comes good very quickly we lacked creativity last season and at present we lack it now
