Bolton going for it
Bolton Wanderers have made a £300,000 bid to sign Luton Town forward Carlos Mendes Gomes.
Laughter is the jam on the toast of life. It adds flavor, keeps it from being too dry, and makes it easier to swallow.

Re: Bolton going for it
I can imagine the discussion on here if we made a bid of £300k for a wide player who has 7 goals in the last two seasons. Especially given our total transfer spend on Scully, Lane and Whyte is less than what Bolton are paying for someone who's arguably less proven, and the response to signing them has been somewhat mixed.
Actually thought he was a half decent player when he was at Morecambe, but I'm not sure that really qualifies as Bolton "going for it".

Fee = Pedigree. Sorry, fee is confused with pedigree.PeteM wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 8:56 pm I can imagine the discussion on here if we made a bid of £300k for a wide player who has 7 goals in the last two seasons. Re: Bolton going for it
“Going for it “ is just an expression it just describes the expenditure they are willing to pay. I’m not saying whether he is worth that fee or not?
