Bristol City Friendly
In case anyone else is interested....I am unable to attend 29th July Saturday friendly against Bristol City - rail strike, etc. But I have been able to buy a video match pass on the PFC website for £5. Hopefully, the technology will work...
Milton End is entering a new era with Tornante

Re: Bristol City Friendly
I do hope that today Moushino will start the game barring injuries with what he considers his first choice line up and he plays them to a reasonable time maybe an hour before he makes changes I really think the time for experimenting is past
I would suggest maybe
Norris
Rafferty Poole Towler. Ogilvie.
Morrell. Pack Lowery.
Whyte. Bishop Scully.
Is likely to be our starting line up for most matches in the absence of an experienced attacking midfield player

Laughter is the jam on the toast of life. It adds flavor, keeps it from being too dry, and makes it easier to swallow.

Pompey: Norris; Rafferty, Poole, Shaughnessy, Ogilvie; Lowery, Pack (c), Morrell; Scully, Bishop, Whyte
No Towler or Rags interesting

Re: Bristol City Friendly
I thought that he was losing pace last year, which I suppose is inevitable. He just has to use his experience to get round it, and try not to get caught on the ball.jam tomorrow wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 2:42 pm City forum really critical of Pack reckon he is slower than ever

Re: Bristol City Friendly
Just had a look at the subs, and to be honest I would have been quite happy if most of them were playing from the start.

OMG...iFollow is soooo bad today! Who the hell is the commentator..so boring! and the commentary is about 5 seconds behind play which is f'in annoying. Got some kids shouting and screaming in the background as well.Milton End wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 1:14 pm In case anyone else is interested....I am unable to attend 29th July Saturday friendly against Bristol City - rail strike, etc. But I have been able to buy a video match pass on the PFC website for £5. I thought we had built a state of the art TV gantry but the view is poor and sometimes obstructed by blue railings.
Just hope it changes for the better once season starts.

Re: Bristol City Friendly
Much better second half - more pace and intent, albeit with several Bristol subs on. Kamara looked handy as did Sparkes, and Raggs was good in the air as ever.
