Yengi - obviously
Sparkes - worked well
Robertson - some good skills which were to be expected from a Man City player
Mottoh - only 16 but given a start after doing well last week with the Academy
Kamara - good assist
Scully - good assist
Swanson - a well-taken goal from a defender - whatever next!

And these are all new players recruited for the season with only two loans: surely says something about the search process?

But still early days....could all go pear-shaped....
Not quite ME, I seem to recall Swanson was with us last season ;-)

Interesting, I saw more than enough to make me think he is EXACTLY what we have been missing in midfield. One run in particular where he picked up the ball in our half late on, nutmegged one of their players and then drove forwards powerfully before placing a lovely attacking pass into the path of Bishop was pure class. Bishop should have done better with his shot, and could easily have scored.

I didn’t say he had a bad game just that based on Saydees performances over the 2 games that I think he brings a physicality that Robertson hasn’t which can be needed for some games
I’d agree that he is a more cultured player but will need time to adapt to this league better to gradually introduce him

Anyway it a moot point as Moushino has said he’s not going to rush him into the starting lineup

I believe we have two excellent loan players that can unlock stubborn defences especially in home games Kamara and Robertson are very sharp and will benefit our attack. Players like Colby and Yengi will thrive off of their openings I would like to see more attacking play from Skully and Whyte I don’t think they have shown what they can do yet?

Thanks SB - I must be even more gaga than I realised! :)

Incidentally, since no one else has mentioned it, I admired Mousinho's decision to bring on the 16 year-old Motto for the last fifteen minutes.

IMO, it's very important to give support and encouragement to our Academy players when appropriate.

Should maybe have added Kamara good assist plus his driving run into the area won the penalty

I thought he looked fantastic last night. Really rate him. He also singlehandedly created our equaliser on Saturday. Impressed.
