Re: Nathan Butler-Oyedeji
That’s an understatement he was in their squad 21 times started 6 substituted on 5 no goals no assistsBetelgeuse wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 10:32 am Did nothing at Accy last season. Get Dion Charles. Show intent.
Primarily a centre forward so just what we need a fourth unproven player in that position

Yengi Saydee and Kamara plus him would be 4Pompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 11:14 amWho are the four unproven strikers?Pompey55 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 10:57 amThat’s an understatement he was in their squad 21 times started 6 substituted on 5 no goals no assistsBetelgeuse wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 10:32 am Did nothing at Accy last season. And I am maybe one of those who is not going overboard regarding Yengi
I do think the other 2 are ok as winger or second attacker but neither have come near to scoring so far and are still a gamble by Hughes and Moushino which as yet has not come off

Re: Nathan Butler-Oyedeji
the News are reporting this too now.
However the article concludes by saying that if Pompey sign Anjorin on loan and this player too on loan from Arsenal then Pompey will have used all five of their loan player allocation for the first team squad. Not sure how Anjorin, Butler-Oyedeji, Robertson and Kamara make five players but I am sure the News have information that I don't ..... surely journalistic standards at the News are such that they can count to five?!

Peter O'Rourke is tweeting it and he is uber reliable. Being linked with is not the same as getting though. I thought the club said Tino would be our 14th and last signing? That said, that has all gone a bit quiet.

Silly me thinking the sports journalists at the News were just posting click bait nonsense.

Re: Nathan Butler-Oyedeji
I do wonder if we might make two given the knocks to Yengi and Scully, and the Lowery injury. Maybe a 6 month loan just so we don't feel inclined to rush anyone backSelsey Bill wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 12:55 pmPeter O'Rourke is tweeting it and he is uber reliable. I wonder if we are waiting till after tonight for the lad from Chelsea given what Potch has said...Selsey Bill wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 12:55 pmPeter O'Rourke is tweeting it and he is uber reliable. Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was speaking about his line-up for the Carabao Cup second round clash with Wimbldeon: "We are going to use four or five young guys. Chelsea always produce good talent and now it's a good opportunity. It's not our philosophy at the moment but it's because we need to bring young guys to the first team because we have some players who can't play tomorrow.
"The academy and the coaches there are working so hard and it's good to have players from the academy involved."
