A little concerning reading a quote he made in the snooze “I need to build up be robust and play 90 minutes once I become robust I can give my best and show my ability”
“Right now it’s taking it a step at a time and get back to the levels I know I can reach”
That sounds like someone who doesn’t feel he is 100% at the moment

Might just mean that he isn't match fit having not played many games. But given his injury track record, it probably is a bit of a concern (the upside is that I don't think anyone has questioned his ability if and when he gets fully fit!)

Very good interview. Like the fact that he says this is a pivotal moment in his career. It could be in our season too!!
I liked his explanation of why he was seen at Pompey weeks ago but nothing ever happened. Might be BS, probably is, but at least he has the wherewithal to say he was doing his homework everywhere.

I read somewhere that his move to Holland was stopped because Chelsea wanted to use the last loan spot to offload Lukalu to Milan on loan

Kiss the badge speech I've heard a thousand times before.
Means nothing unless he can produce on the pitch.
We will see if the fans see more of him than the physio.

if you like that. You are going to love this interview:

https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/foot ... es-4277487

"I know Portsmouth is a massive club. I’m from down south, so I know they’re a bigger club than Bournemouth and Southampton. ‘We have to get
Pompey back to where they belong. ‘Pompey’s not a League One club, Pompey’s not a Championship club - Pompey are a Premier League club."

I have a new favourite Pompey player :-)

Comes across really well so fingers crossed. Sounds like we need a shirt with 8.5 on it though

Could also be pivotal in JM’s career.

I’d preferred Sam Nombe from Exeter myself.

Let’s hope RH and JM have got it right and he is the ‘missing link’ - expectations are high!
