Pompey Analysis
For those of you who haven’t seen it here’s an interesting article which I believe was carried out before the Posh game.

Re: Pompey Analysis
I was just reading that, seems that problem has been poor execution and decision making when in front of goal. Plenty of chances created.

Re: Pompey Analysis
Very interesting read. It's good to see that we are just a few small improvements to our decision making from being a force to be reckoned with. Certainly paints a better picture than some would have us believe. Perhaps a neutral perspective allows for more clarity when viewing matches.

Re: Pompey Analysis
Interesting to see we have had to most touches in the opposition box, and that we create most of our chances from wide areas.
Imagine we had some decent wingers...

Re: Pompey Analysis
Interesting that the wide play he most liked was from Pack in exactly the same position as his assist on SaturdayPompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 4:50 pm Interesting to see we have had to most touches in the opposition box, and that we create most of our chances from wide areas.

Also emphasized the contribution of Kamara on the flanks but noticeable absence of any mention of meaningful contribution from Whyte or Scully apart from noting Scully is out injured
So yes would be nice for our apparent better winger signings to contribute as much as Kamara who has been excellent out wide when played or Lane who looks dangerous when played
So maybe these 2 are the way forward

I'm not sure about Scully, but I do think Whyte is better than a lot of our fans give him credit for. He quietly gets on with thingsPompey55 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 5:12 pmInteresting that the wide play he most liked was from Pack in exactly the same position as his assist on SaturdayPompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 4:50 pm Interesting to see we have had to most touches in the opposition box, and that we create most of our chances from wide areas.

Re: Pompey Analysis
The only reason Pack had the space he exploited at the weekend was becomes someone else occupied other space and pulled someone else with him.

Re: Pompey Analysis
So what we need then instead of Moushino we actually need Sven Magnus Carlsen as our coach
