Well, I can't speak for Widders, but @Chris_in_la is still going strong. He's in the UK for the first time in years this summer, for my daughter's wedding. I'm sure he'll make a trip to pompey while here. Not so sure about Barnsley though, although we will be passing that way en route to the wedding in Carlisle.

Re: Top of the League.
So we could do with Northampton doing us a favour today as playing Derby in one of the few fixtures on today, they have been on a bad run of results with no win in 5 and lost last 2 so could be a long shot but you never know, they are at home although not a lot to play for as they probably have enough of a buffer not to have relegation worries yet....

Thank you The Cobblers, we did not expect this result with the added bonus of Bradley`s sending off & Méndez-Laing`s hamstring problem. So we are continuing with a five point lead now plus a game in hand ............................................. TOP OF THE LEAGUE

Re: Top of the League.
When this thread was started, it was intended as a feel-good post in September. Who knew it would be so relevant 6 months later. I am starting to now believe, as well as hope, that we will be able to gloat on this at the end of the season.
No intended slur on any other team in our league, but as of March, we are the best team and thoroughly deserve to be where we are. PUP.

Re: Top of the League.
It creates quite an interesting account of thoughts and predictions as the season progressed. Sot the optimistic, pessimistic, disbelievers etc

Not bad for a team of average L1 players who would probably struggle to make the playoffsBlueinPLtwenty wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 8:13 am Apart from one week in september ever since..............................................TOP OF THE LEAGUE
Re: Top of the League.
Were they the same brunch that had the naive manager who would be found wanting as the season progressed?
