Re: Lincoln
This time last year the injuries would have been a showstopper instead we still a have a team who are capable of sustaining the momentum we have. Despite injuries to Lowery, Yengi, Saydee, Scully, and Ogilvie.
Laughter is the jam on the toast of life. It adds flavor, keeps it from being too dry, and makes it easier to swallow.

Exactly, this is where you get the benefit of not spending all your money on a flagship signing I guess.jam tomorrow wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 12:19 pm This time last year the injuries would have been a showstopper instead we still a have a team who are capable of sustaining the momentum we have. Obviously making a point. I don't remember anyone suggesting blowing the budget on 'flagship signings' but we are down to one fit striker who is showing signs that he could do with some help. Nevertheless, it is true to say we are coping well with the injury situation.

Re: Lincoln
The other benefits are we can review the players we have by the end of the season and if we make it to the Championship. We can take stock of the players who we think can play at that level. Those who can’t will hopefully have added to their value without costing us any transfer fees. I think we should seriously look at bringing in another striker to take the load of Bish in January

It was a comment in reply to the strength in depth we have - because if you have a finite budget you have to spend it wisely. I believe we did that this summer.

We may not need to if Yengi and Saydee keep going / step up. If they don't then I think we may need something.jam tomorrow wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 2:34 pm The other benefits are we can review the players we have by the end of the season and if we make it to the Championship. I got the impression from some interviews and soundbites towards the end of the window that there might be more money in the kitty still too.
