Some good reminders of times past.

I found the pictures of bomb damage particularly poignant. Even in the early 1960s there were still bombsites around the city.

It was surely much worse in the early 1950s but, although I lived there, I was too young to remember it.

Posters even older than me ( there are a few ) will have more vivid memories I expect.

Still bomb damage in Gosport in the early 70's, next to the George & Dragon pub. My Grandparents lived in a flat in Blake Court overlooking it.

I remember childhood visits from the late 40s. Have always remembered the bomb sites. Seemed to be many years before they were cleared.
