Hi all, long time no post...
I'm off to the game today, my first in a while. Praying my presence doesn't put the kybosh on the winning streak!

Re: Today's game
That's another brilliant result today. I would have been happy with a draws against these so called better teams. At the start of the run of games against Derby, Peterborough, Barnsley, Lincoln & Wigan I thought we would see the unbeaten run go but 4 wins and a draw is very encouraging.
The only blot today was Leeds losing, which is a shame.
Does anyone know if there is some sort of rift between Southampton FC and Radio Solent? They never featured all afternoon and even their score wasn't read out. Normally Radio Solent are very much Southampton orientated and occupy top billing.
EDIT- I have just found out the Saints match didn't feature was because they kicked off early. Nevertheless, normally when that happens they don't shut up talking about them, especially after a win. Today they just didn't talk about them which is very unusual.

Re: Today's game
Well, it’s safe to show my face again!!
Great game, really enjoyed it. First time I’ve seen any of this team live (apart from on TV) and I was impressed. The fans were as brilliant as ever and was great to be back at a game again. Roll on Carlisle in February

Is this the right room for an argument?

Re: Today's game
Despite the long day was a most enjoyable day out
I thought we played well throughout but we were hanging on a bit at the end when they brought on a giant number 28 and lumped it up at every opportunity without really causing a threat directly on the goal due to a lot of back to the wall defending on the edge of the area
Morrell and Robertson controlled the midfield but I did feel that Pack had an off day in particular having his pocket picked a couple of times when he dwelt on the ball in his own half
Lane seems to be growing into his position in the team but I felt Kamara went missing for periods of the game in the left whilst not making any defensive mistakes Sparkes seems to have an habit of getting his feet in a mess when on the ball at times
Wigan are a good footballing team who despite their points deduction will be up there at the end of the season so beating them in their own ground is an achievement in its self
