Full set of fixtures tomorrow night. Tuesday 3rd October.

Post by Sam_Brown »

Key Games:

Portsmouth (1st) vs Wycombe (9th)
Oxford (2nd) vs Shrewsbury (18th)
Bolton (4th) vs Stevenage (3rd)
Carlilse (19th) vs Peterborough (5th)
Bristol (14th) vs Port Vale (6th)

Hoping out winning ways continue as I can't see Oxford, Posh and Port Vale dropping points.

I can certainly see Port Vale dropping points at Bristol who we saw down here have recruited well and no one likes a midweek match at Carlisle and Peterborough don’t travel well
I’m dreading how late I’m getting home if the referee adds all the usual Wycombe time wasting on at the end of the game

I can actually see Port Vale struggling to take any points away at Gas. Bolton will will comfortably which will be the start of the Stevenage slide back to normality. I agree with Oxford and Posh taking all three points and I would not be too upset with a draw against Wycombe.

Obviously being top of the league is cracking, if we happen to fall from that perch tonight because we get a point not all three it won't be the end of the world - it's about momentum as much as anything.

At somepoint we are going to lose too... that also won't be the end of the world.

No it won't but it will hurt like hell after not losing for so long. There will, obviously, come a time when we won't play so well or our opponent plays better and gets all the luck and we lose. It is how we react to losing is going to be key.

Oh it will be an absolute shitter when we do lose, but I think this manager and team believe in what they are doing and we will just go again...
