Portsmouth (1st) vs Port Vale (8th)
Oxford (2nd) vs Bristol (11th)
Bolton (3rd) vs Carlisle (20th)
Exeter (10th) vs Barnsley (4th)
Stevenage (5th) vs Wigan (23rd)
Peterborough (6th) vs Lincoln (12th)
Port Vale have only 1 point from their last 4 games but this is the sort of game that we can easily slip up on by taking it for granted. JM needs to make sure he keeps the players hungry and motivated for this.

Re: This Weekend's Key Fixtures - Saturday 7th October
given that Pompey go into the Port Vale game without Pack, Stevenson and Poole ....and given that the team has taken 12/12 pts from the last four games I think a point Saturday should be seen as acceptable. Hoping for 3pts but we should temper our expectation perhaps and be happy with 26pts from the opening 12 games (on pace for 92 pts for the season)

Re: This Weekend's Key Fixtures - Saturday 7th October
Despite Port Vale being 8th, I see this as one of our easier matches out of the recent run of fixtures. With the greatest respect to Port Vale, I think they have over-achieved this season so total credit to them, especially following their shocker in the opening match.
Oxford are clearly a team who are not going away, but I don't think they have the all-round strength of Pompey and although I think they will beat Rovers, it will be no pushover for them.
I can see both Bolton and Barnsley picking up 3 points each. Posh ay narrowly beat Lincoln, although I wouldn't be surprised with a draw and I think Stevenage will continue to fall off the pace with a defeat to Wigan.
But... What do I know.

A single point will, as you suggest, put us on 26 points from 12 games but, that is on pace for a little shy of a hundred points, not 92.
