Re: FA Cup draw
I know it's annoying for anyone travelling to the game but the biggest positive about this is that we'll get a fee for being live on TV (last season it was £50,000) which we can add to January's transfer kitty.

Re: FA Cup draw
Imagine going from Ipswich to Rotherham for the game to be called off two hours before kick off - not because the pitch is unplayable but because the river by the ground is dangerously high, oh the station is also underwater...
Still at least it didn't impact you....

Like I said, it's crap if you're going to the game - I'd feel exactly the same!
Just trying to point out that overall from the club's point of view, there's probably an upside to it as well.

Its no ideal - but it's not the worst start in the world. Plus nobody forces anyone to go.PeteM wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 10:32 pmLike I said, it's crap if you're going to the game - I'd feel exactly the same!

It’s also a foretaste of what we can expect for potentially up to a third of our games when the new EFL tv agreement with Sky startsPompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 6:34 amIts no ideal - but it's not the worst start in the world.
