FA Cup draw

Post by BlueinPLtwenty »

Chesterfield away. Paul Cook, Michael Jacobs (if he`s not injured) Tom Naylor (it is winter!)

Got to be on the telly, but I might try and go to this one!

Hope it's not on the Friday or Monday as granddaughter can't go on school days and both would be quite an early start

I love a good cup run. Early days it's a great way to get more experience and match time for the fringe players just like the EFL Pizza Waffle trophy. Who wouldn't salivate at the chance of going to Old Trafford or Maine Road for the chance of doing one over a big name team. There are plenty of examples of smaller teams dicking over bigger ones throughout the history of the cup. Exeter vs United anyone?

Plus later rounds gives us more money to use in the transfer windows. I'm all for a decent cup run and anyone moaning is a boring old git imo! 🤣👍

As usual not a single thought for the fans that’s going to be an extremely early morning start if you go by coach

I didn’t say we would not be going just that tv companies never take into account traveling fans when scheduling games

Whatever game is on TV inconveniences some fans - just happens to be our turn. Potentially.
