Two changes Pack for Morrell. Saydee for Lane
You can take the man out of Pompey
But you can`t take Pompey out of the man

Pack was expected but didn’t see Saydee coming in for Lane TBH.

I’d guess Kamara moves to the right and Saydee plays down the middle.

The only explanation for Lane being on the bench is that he had that slight injury that was said to have ruled him out on Saturday and they are managing it, Martin in my opinion did nothing on Saturday to justify his continued inclusion in the team certainly not over Lane
He is however apparently capable of playing both wings so I’d think it’s him on the right and Kamara on the left

In my view Kamara is more effective on the right, let’s see what JM does…

Surely if Lane is unfit he shouldn't be on the bench. I thought Lane wsd one of our better performers on Saturday so I can only imagine it's something to do with 'management' to an injury. On the face of it I can't understand why Sparkes is playing after Saturday. I would think the defence will be under more pressure tonight than home games and I thought Hume might get a run out in Sparkes place. Maybe Mousinho is contemplating a more attacking game from us where Sparkes does have more of an effect.

With Oggie out injured we dont really have any alternative. Certainly not Hume imo. Who hasn't impressed the Cowleys or Mousinho.

Bishop ankle injury just before half time. I think that Sparkes has been okay so far.

Bishop injured!!
Turned his ankle just before ht, doesn't look good, don't think he will continue.

Burton manager seems a right b'stard trying to get Sparkes sent off (when it should be his own player Baah)

1-0 halftime but good news Peterborough losing 2-0 and Oxford/Bolton all Square
Worry if Bishop gets injured as we have no alternatives

Kamara having good game. Martin needs more game time, no confidence. Pompey too slow and being harried when on the ball forcing them backwards.

Yengi on for Bishop at half time.

Wish all the best to Yengi but I am not sure this is a good sign for Pompey. Hopefully taking Bishop off now is about protecting him from further injury on his ankle.

Yengi has a chance to show whether he has what it takes tonight
Laughter is the jam on the toast of life. It adds flavor, keeps it from being too dry, and makes it easier to swallow.
