Going to the game or watching on telly?
Is there anybody out there willing to admit to watching the game tomorrow on television instead of going to Fratton Park?

Watching at home. Bolton is closer than Fratton Park to home.Blue Walter wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 7:09 pm Is there anybody out there willing to admit to watching the game tomorrow on television instead of going to Fratton Park?

Only 5 tickets left.

OK, maybe I should have asked that who, if anyone, who would normally go to Fratton Park will opt to watch the game on television? I can see the appeal for someone who lives a long way from Portsmouth would choose to watch it on television, as it appears supporters like Mr 84 live some distance away, rather than travel when they can watch it in comfort at home. I also understand that there are supporters who are unable to watch games live now. I suppose I am asking people who live in, or near, Portsea Island who have chosen the comfortable option.

I'd go to every game if I could! Sadly it's just not practical.Blue Walter wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 10:14 pm OK, maybe I should have asked that who, if anyone, who would normally go to Fratton Park will opt to watch the game on television? I cancelled my Skysports subscription earlier this year but added "football" in august so I could watch the Exeter match. I haven`t got round to cancelling it so I shall be watching at home in comfort. However I would prefer to be 180 miles further east to watch it live

I will be there with my adult son (as we are for every home game) as has been alluded to above, watching on television is a poor substitute for being there.

My brother who lives in Emsworth tells me that there have been roadworks and lane closures on Eastern Road recently. Does anyone know if they are still there?

Just seen on OS that the roadworks have been put back until later in the week.
