We could see he had talent when he was with us, it was just he gave the impression as time went on that Pompey were a bit beneath him. He had already "made it" with a top Club like Spurs and he did not need to exert himself.

When he first joined he looked the business was getting into good positions and was making the right runs.
It all went down hill for Scarlett when it did for the rest of the team - I actually think had we signed him this summer in this team he would have scored a lot of goals.
