Re: Alex Robertson out for the season
I wonder if Man City have anyone in a similar mould... KDB maybe?

Re: Alex Robertson out for the season
Robertson hasn't played as well in the more advanced position as he did the deeper position anyway.

Re: Alex Robertson out for the season
We've not had much luck this season. Two key players with season ending injuries. Hopefully we can do some good business in this window to replenish the stocks a bit!

Re: Alex Robertson out for the season
Pretty bad luck not just to lose 1 top player to a season ending injury, but to lose a second too... Let's hope Hughes can pull another rabbit out of his hat to try and find a replacement for Robertson.

Just read my comments I was of the opinion we couldn’t judge him without seeing him play and if he lived up to his reputation he might solve our midfield conundrumPompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 4:28 pm What a difference half a season makes...

I have just gone back over all my comments at that time I was a at pain to be clear I was not being negative just raising the point that we had previously loaned players with high expectations and they had not delivered and hoped he would not be the same
In fact I deliberately avoided your obvious goading at the time to be constructive not negative
Because I don’t think that every decision made within the club is perfect doesn’t make me any less of a supporter than those who think the sun shines out of the backside of every member of the management and coaching staff as some do on this forum
I show my support at the games and express an honest opinion here if that’s wrong so be it

Re: Alex Robertson out for the season
I was just positing in general about what a difference half a season has made, for Robertson, the club, the fact that both the players discussed in that thread are with us and injured, incident Camara has missed nearly all season injured too.Pompey55 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 7:13 pmI assume you meant priceless not princessPompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 6:49 pmIt's not all about your princess.Pompey55 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 6:38 pmJust read my comments I was of the opinion we couldn’t judge him without seeing him play and if he lived up to his reputation he might solve our midfield conundrumPompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 4:28 pm What a difference half a season makes...

Talk about a body blow first Poole now Robbo two of our best players if we recover from this and still get promotion will be outstanding. We need more from other players especially Scully and Whyte
