Steve Sedden
Doing his bit for Pompey.
Derby go 2-0 up against Burton
Sedden scores great goal for Burton then a fantastic pass out to striker who finishes well for 2-2
Burton could win this

Sedden`s once a season wonder
You can take the man out of Pompey
But you can`t take Pompey out of the man

Re: Steve Sedden
That was an interesting watch last night.
It was so noticeable the way both teams, as soon as they got the ball, headed immediately toward the opponents goal. Unlike us that immediately turn back towards our own goal, slow everything down and allow the opposition to regroup en-masse. Refreshing and exciting to watch!!

The overall quality of football in display last night was absolutely abysmal though.eltorrro wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 9:10 am That was an interesting watch last night.

Quite agree with that but after watching every Pompey game with their slow build up the difference was very noticeable.Pompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 9:36 am

We try and play football though - what was happening last night is the equivalent of kicking for touch in rugby and trying to get yards up the field.eltorrro wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 9:45 amQuite agree with that but after watching every Pompey game with their slow build up the difference was very noticeable.Pompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 9:36 am

We have been poor of late but can you imagine watching that dross from Derby every week? I sort of expect it from Burton away from home against a team higher up the league.
