Re: Team for Oxford
Could have been worse, I mean if sparkes had been on the pitch we would have been thrashed

Re: Team for Oxford
The defence looked really shaky at times - Raggett is on the ball too much for my liking, it feels that anything can happen!!
The shot should have been closed down quicker imho before it even got to Norris.

Re: Team for Oxford
Would have taken a point, Oxford is always tricky away they have been/are a good side. We need more goals , Lang done well with a debut goal so hopefully he could the missing piece we need to go up. Good bit of businesss shame we had to concede soo late on

In my defense I was watching it on the sly with my boss, and her boss in a restaurant.

Re: Team for Oxford
Let's be honest after debacle against Orient we would have gladly taken 7 points from the following 3 away games
Also getting these games out of the way gives us a far less hectic run in with fewer midweek games and potential injuries and player tiredness than the other challenging teams
We have 9 home games and only 7 away left which again should also be to our advantage

Re: Team for Oxford
It was appalling to let the lead slip in the 90th minute. Towler should have brought the player down. Lots of mistakes last night, thank god for Lang. I'm not happy with Norris either. Much rather have Macey in goal, he would have definitely saved Oxford's first goal too. We also seem to spend too much time trying to walk the ball into the net rather than having a shot. Very frustrating to watch.

Re: Team for Oxford
JM's post match interview was as honest as usual. I like how he used the word idiotic to describe how we saw the game out. It's interesting that the players are coached to play patiently. That might explain why we're so slow. Brighton are the same. Playing patiently might be giving the wrong message to some players.
