Re: Cambridge
If Whyte is performing well enough in training, of course he should be given the chance in the squad. Whilst he is a Pompey player, I continue to hope that he plays and showd yhd form that he is capable of.

Team announcement no Lang or Colby

1-1 HT. Yengi scored our equaliser from the spot just before HT. Very slow start from us. Can't keep doing that.

Good game so far. Just wish some of our players would think faster. Quite a few chances going forward that needed more support.
Super Matt Macey in goal...

A bit worrying Lowery injury we are running out of midfielders hope he recovers soon.

3-1 FT 3 points; improved goal difference Top of the League
You can take the man out of Pompey

Re: Cambridge
Just back from the game overall we deserved to win if not by more Cambridge were really poor and difficult to know how the linesman gave their goal from where he was positioned
Many of us where I was thought MPH had an absolutely awful first half and had he not scored should have been replaced despite his goal after his promising start at Port Vale he is overrated and should not start ahead of Lang in more important games
I still think against teams like this our slow build up actually helps them to frustrate us in particular at home
But maybe I’m being over critical as my 2 grandkids came home happy again
