Trying to work out the math. Only game I could get to at home at the end of the season. Really hoping it could be the game we clench promotion. What do you reckon?

Given how massive a game it could be for both sides, I'm expecting there to be plenty of clenching
Being serious, the next six games will have to go very well for us to have a chance of sealing it against Derby, I'd be surprised if that was the scenario.

No, no,no!
Too early for this sort of prediction.
I realise it makes no real difference but daren’t think like this.
It’s like not moving your seat before results are confirmed.
Fingers and everything crossed.

Not bothered about speculation about when, it’s simple win more games than the others and we go up
It’s tempting fate setting a target for a particular game let’s just take one game at a time
Just looking forward to a day at the seaside next week

Re: Derby game. Could it be the game we seal promotion?
I would love that to be the case but mathematically after the Derby game everyone would have four games left so Pompey would need to be 13pts ahead of twenty two teams in L1 at the final whistle to achieve promotion.
In practical terms that means that Pompey would need to increase its 7 pts lead by a further 6 points over two of three of Bolton, Barnsley and Derby and not let Peterborough get more than 1 point closer to Pompey over the next six games.
To achieve that Pompey would need to pretty much win every game - so wins at Blackpool, Peterborough and Wycombe with home wins vs Burton, Barnsley and Derby. Not impossible but highly unlikely I would suggest
