Effectively 7 points if we keep the goal difference up, table looks a lot clearer now with less what ifs, does go to show importance of points in the bag, every other team would want to be in our position, hopefully momentum from Saturday get us a win against blackpool but does have a slight banana skin potential

Sorry but the goal difference doesn’t really work to be an extra point.

Goal difference will only be a factor if any team catches us up on points. Their goal difference versus us will improve by at least 2, probably more.

None of us wants it to come to that of course.

Let’s hurry up and get it done soonest.

Still a bit to go yet though so there will be some twists I think.

Bolton were unlucky not to have won that match, but it`s good for us the perfect result
You can take the man out of Pompey

Both are beatable.

Have Barnsley beaten a top 6 side yet? Correction, of course they have Derby the other week. But I think that might be it.

That game in hand btw is against Stevenage away. That is going to be far from an easy game for Barnsley

The game isn't going to be played until mid April - and several weeks after Pompey play Barnsley at FP.
