One of those games where you want both sides to lose.

Charles still not fit to play.

I think, I want a draw, or a Barnsley win.

A draw would be the perfect result, but Barnsley have lost 5 matches at home more than the four we have lost in total!

I think Barnsley will come up strong and potentially pip and automatic promotion spot, but we are hopefully just out of reach for them - barring a total implosion.

I think it's a win win game for us either one team will be 7 points behind or 6 points behind when games played even out

All points dropped by our rivals are 'kind of' points gained by us as for each they drop, we technically need to win that many fewer. So, in effect, a loss of 3 points for either Barnsley or Bolton would be the the equivalent of a win for us compared to them?

So, on that logic (which isn't really logical at all, I know), a draw would mean 2 dropped points for each so 4 in total. A 4 pointer match would be the best result for sure. LOL

Great result I agree.

I’d be pretty peeved if I were a Barnsley fan at an equaliser that late in the day.

Maybe they had been time wasting, or managing the game as people now say.

Really good night for Pompey though.

Great stuff. 6 points clear even if Barnsley do win their game in hand now.

Good result for us, keeps both 6 points behind assuming games in hand in won which is not a given.

Let’s travel up to Blackpool on Saturday and keep ourselves out in front
