From memory I think that I replied to that post to say that cutting holes in socks is meant to help prevent you from getting cramp. However, I don't run enough in five-a-side any more to need to cut holes in mine, so can neither prove or disprove the theory :lol:

The new kit didn’t inspire the crowd last night. It was like watching a County cricket match.

I remember years ago being annoyed when it was my turn to go in goal at five-a-side. These days I'm counting down the minutes so I can have a breather :rofl
