Announced at the EFL awards tonight. Norris, Shaughnessy and Pack all included. Well done to them all.

Nice to see recognition where deserved. The Pompey job was a massive one to take on and you’ve only got to look at his thread in here to show that it wasn’t an obvious initial choice. He’s been what everyone wanted the Cowleys to be. Very likeable, speaks truths and gets results. What a guy 👏🏻

I am particularly pleased for Shaughnessy as he is one of the players that I deemed as 'uninspiring' when he came in during the summer. He has certainly surprised me at the level he has performed this season. I saw him as a squad player as back up for Towler in what I thought was going to be his 'breakthrough' season. It is the fact that Shaughnessy has performed so well he has made his position his own in the team.

I am particularly pleased for all three, but I think a special mention has to go to Will Norris. He has quietly got on with his job, made some crucial saves at critical times and his long balls to Colby & Abu have been exceptional most of the time.
