Re: Would you?
I wouldn't begrudge him a move to a club in a higher league. I think a lot of teams will be looking at him, but think they will want to see how he does after his first full season. We've been good the season, in terms of grinding out points when the team have not been at its best. It will be intere...

Re: Clarke-Harris
£850k is the fee I read in a Bristol paper, seems quite reasonable for a goal scorer.

Re: Signing no. 10…Regan Poole
Yeah, the guy is crap, like all the other signings. However, one very good season with Pompey and a promotion and he is worth 3m+. Two year contract and no option, which shows his ambition and single mindedness. Top marks, Richard Hughes! In case you're wondering why he didn't go to the Championshi...

Re: Signing no. 10…Regan Poole
I'm looking forward to the start of the season, I will be interested to see what JM delivers with the team he has built. He did well with the team he inherited from DC. The league this year looks a bit weaker now that Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich and Plymouth have got promoted. The player we have si...

Re: Signing no. 10…Regan Poole
Taken from a Lincoln forum and makes quite an interesting read. Regan Poole has joined Pompey and my initial response was anger. Yep, good ‘ol base anger. He was meant to be Championship bound, and given his heroic performances for us last season, it felt like he deserved it. We all wanted to look i...

Re: Number Eight
Excellent News!! Pompey now have Scully, Lane and Whyte as wide players! All signed as permanent Pompey players. Exactly my point we gave this supply from the wings but who apart from Bishop do we have with a proven record of converting these crosses And also who have we been linked with to do so L...

Re: Now it’s 7
My thoughts are Plymouth got promoted without spending cash and Ipswich got promoted by spending cash, so it can be done without breaking the bank. If we hadn't had such a poor run under Cowley we could have made the playoffs. The Mous has picked these players and see them as being able to fit into ...

Re: West Ham
I guess we can all have our own thoughts on this, that's the beauty of the beautiful game and thankfully we can generally agree amicably on here to disagree. I think that the game has got to a stage where without a filthy rich sugar daddy (generally with wealth from dubious sources), it is almost i...

Re: Clarke Robertson
He a good player when he plays but have some of his injuries this season been down to some of Cowleys training methods. We did see some stats from the medical team highlighting an usually high injury rate under Cowley compared to other managers.

Let's also remember that these are not JMs players. Plymouth and Ipswich have also appointed novice managers and that seems to be working OK.

Re: Mixed Messages ?
For my thoughts, if the clubs vision aligns with Bishops he will stay for say another year. Bishop stayed at Accrington, an agreement was reached to sell him if they didn't reach the play offs(I think it was the play offs) Bishop almost joined Blackpool before he joined Pompey, so there is a desire ...
