Re: Looking ahead to the Championship
On the Radio Solent piece from Wednesday morning (the Paddy Lane one), Andy Cullen was asked what success would be next season. He said 'consolidating and being competitive'. That doesn’t sound like the expectation is to be in a relegation battle. I do wonder how much our success will hinge on Mous...

Re: The stay at home match thread.
Fantasitc result. When we went 2-1 down I was pacing the room and groaning that we would still be under pressure for the final two matches. Thank goodness I was totally wrong. Extraordinary scenes on the pitch after the game - a real pleasure to see so many enjoying the moment after so long. Inciden...

Re: Will We Get The Job Done?
Just setting off Damn. I thought I had it bad! Leaving work early at 3. Three hour trip down, game then three hour trip right back and up at 6 tomorrow! Two days off work for me. Not helped by the fact I'm on the train for part of the journey. Get down to Pompey quite early for a mooch about and se...

Re: The end of ifollow
International streaming remains through I-Follow and domestic audio (my only legal option at present). That is not my recollection of the recent announcement. The club have said that the i-Follow contract will finish at the end of this season. Following the new Sky deal, the club are looking at alt...

Re: Safety concerns at the new Milton End
I also concur with the safety concerns raised at the Milton End on Saturday. I witnessed 3 St John’s Ambulance staff personnel clearly responding to an incident in MQ section trying to force their way through the congestion on the concourse at half time. I received an email from the club today, ask...

Re: Safety concerns at the new Milton End
Yesterday, I managed to obtain a ticket for the Shrewsbury match in the new Milton End. The rebuilt stand is obviously an improvement but it left me with major safety concerns. The only access to all the seats is via an elevated walkway about 4 metres wide high up at the back of the stand. This cor...

Re: Radio / Streams for Pompey post match commentary / analysis for trip home?
Listen regularly to BBC Radio Solent: coverage last night finished at 10.30 with a live interview by Andy Moon with John M. Sometimes, BBC coverage of evening matches finishes at 10pm: it depends on whether the match begins at 19.45 or - like last night - at 20.00. Occasionally, I listen to Express ...

Re: bl**dy adverts, everywhere
I access using my PC which has auto log-on within Google favourites, set up many moons ago. I don't get to see any adverts. Maybe its the settings or "skin" I am using?? Anyway, I was away yesterday and wanted to access via phone through Google and wham, too many adverts to deal with swam...

Re: Independent football regulator
I think it's good news that finally the bill to set up an independent football regulator has been published and hope that with the current cross party support will come into law as soon as possible. The behaviour of some Premier league teams last week walking out on the plans to fairly redistribute...
