Re: GBBO - Spoiler alert
Personally I watch it because they usually have a fit contestant or two and I'm a massive down-blouse fan and it can get very hot in that tent and those girls' loose tops coupled with the ground-level ovens works nicely!......oops!....secret's out! Suspect you're something of a Nigella fan then, Ea...

Re: How long have been on here for and where did you come fr
I came from 606. Wasn't there another board between 606 and this one? Or was that just Rubi in another guise? I am sure I remember this one shutting down and starting again at some point, but I might be imagining it. Someone needs to write a history before we all disappear. Aye, there was one. Call...

Apparently Hasselbaink, someone at Barnsley and that muppet that owns Leeds are next on the list.......
And, no, not as the next England manager, but the latest to be "stung", or whatever the appropriate term is, by undercover reporters.

Dom Hyam, Scotland U21 centre back, signed on loan from Reading.
Makes a bit more sense of the Barton thing I guess.

Well, one of our number did, sort of:

Good call actually.
Not quite on the level of Jack Wilshere to Bournemouth though. You still running that bar down there? He'll probably be calling in at some point......

Re: 3rd Test England v Pakistan
So what exactly ARE the rules regarding the 'keeper taking the bails off? Can he catch it and kick the bails off, for instance? Law 28.1 The wicket is put down if a bail is completely removed from the top of the stumps, or a stump is struck out of the ground... or (v) by a fielder with his hand or ...

Re: 3rd Test England v Pakistan
So, Pakistan finally all out for 400, a lead of 103. England are going to need an absolute of minimum of 350 to make a game of this I'd have thought. Won't be easy given the way they batted first time around. Still, a couple of other crumbs of comfort - the Aussies are getting their ar$es handed to ...

Re: 3rd Test England v Pakistan
374-8 now. Thing is can England bat with a bit more discipline when they go in again? Personally I think England are staring down the barrel here, its asking an awful lot to put a competitive score together when you are 100 odd behind. Pakistan currently lead by 80. Spot on gunner, stats are agains...

"We're getting thrashed. We're getting completely thrashed. Isn't there some way we can cheat?" (A virtual glass of one of pomp's new world wines to the first person to correctly identify where that quote's from) Rick from The Young Ones [1982] I cheated - I googled it! Excellent, you get...
