Re: D-Day Celebrations

They've probably been watching too many hollywood films! They probably think Will Smith and Bruce Willis were there too.

D-Day Celebrations

I've been lucky enough to get a couple of tickets to the D-Day 80: A Tribute to the Fallen concert on the common. Is anyone else on here going? My daughter has been working on the BBC production team and tells me it's going to be great. If you can't get a ticket, she tells me the drone show is going...

I probably enjoyed being at the 2010 semi-final the most. But, being there to watch Sol lift the FA Cup was very special indeed.

Re: 19 years ago

My word - 19 years ago! I was remembering that last week, with all the Spurs v Man City conversations going on. Mind you, I guess we had nothing to play for, whereas Spurs did. History did not repeat itself this time around. I prefer Saints to stay down for next season, purely for the drama of derby...

Re: Who needs to beg their fans to turn up and make a noise?

I am hopeful re play offs but looking at the three relegated clubs from the Prem it makes you wonder if its worth it . Well, it will mean they have around £130M coming their way over the next three years - I think they get 55% of the premier league clubs payments (I believe prem clubs get about £10...

Re: Marc Lenoard

If it's Brighton selling him, then he will almost certainly go to Chelsea for a price in excess of £100M, on an 8-year contract :)
