Both cared enough to reply though
As I’ve posted before I care who comes in and the point is that regardless of the outcome McCann appears to have been quite a market mover today.

Grant McCann new favourite
Thoughts?
He strikes me that he wouldn’t put up with under achievers and knows enough about this league to significantly improve the squad (if allowed) and our downward spiral. Less of a gamble than a modern manual coach too.

Re: Let’s see your ambition PFC
I wonder if we made a move for the Notts County Manager and that is why they have tied him down to a new contract I suspect he got his agent and plenty of mates to get him in the Pompey running with the bookies and papers but there was no substance to it other than to manipulate his club to panic a...

Re: Let’s see your ambition PFC
Wilder and any other manager with a good reputation won’t want to work under a director of football.
It undermines them.

Let’s see your ambition PFC
This is the most important piece of recruitment in the Eisners reign (and Cullens) and will tell us all we need to know about their ambitions for us on the football pitch. In my humble opinion a tactical talker and yes man isn’t for us, we don’t need a repeat of what we had ( a hope) we need a manag...

Re: Time for management change now
Good players looking awful, Played players out of position and with a formation that didn’t suit us until confidence was drained, Fans turned and in great numbers now, Over complicated football talk and no results, Bizarre selections and formations, Conceding soft goals every game, Home form disgra...

Re: Mr Cullen
If I had a season ticket I’d rip it up - Cullen and the owners are responsible as they continue to support this dross.

Re: Time for management change now
Cowley had no plan B and we lived on luck early in the season. Forced into a ridiculous change in shape only because of the likes of Barton laughing at him and so he put square pegs in round holes. Outwitted by his opposite numbers and has lost the players belief and has drained them of confidence n...

Andy Cullens Update didn’t address the main issue
A great listen if you’re a politician but quite frankly what’s on the pitch (the product) is dreadful. It’s ok having a lovely looking shop and training facility for your staff but if your chief greengrocer turns shiny apples onto maggot ridden rotten fruit then you’re not going to get us in and the...

Re: Time for management change now
Regardless of todays result (good or bad) it’s predictably poor and won’t change unless the manager is changed.

High expectation seems to be bothering the new Sunderland (we have a divine right to go up) League One Champions elect Sheffield Wednesday. Little Pompey on the other hand didn’t rue the opening offside goal conceded, the assault on Scarlett or having 10 men on the pitch (unnecessarily) to concede t...

Re: Mr Cullen
Sometimes I think this board could win prizes for negativity. The truth is we don't know what is happening, because the Pompey Board are keeping their negotiations under wraps I am sure Danny Cowley knows what’s going on…. Listen to his interviews and although not directly saying it do you think he...
