Re: Charlton

Borrowed from Broadcaster Ian Darke a Pompey fan..............So the reality would seem to be that the Eisners will not pay for stadium upgrades AND the required improvements to the Pompey squad. Which leaves the club stuck in League One and, you’d imagine, the manager pretty frustrated........Sums ...

Re: Charlton

BW Quote .....I also think that we would have sunk further behind under fan ownership. It may well of worked without the constraints of Fratton Park. I believe it was the right thing to do when the club was sold because I think the Trust was on it's knees. There will be a professional football club ...

Re: Charlton

Mid table mediocrity yes will do the Eisners Bw no sign of the so called fast attacking football and yes I cant understand what Jacobs has to do to get a start Ns. From what I can gather Williams was taken to the QA in a wheel chair having suffered a back injury. I wish him well.......

Re: Charlton

The goal knocked the stuffing out of Pompey in a big way, we never not going after that until the subs were introduced 55. Charlton were by far the better team and look far more likely to go with a run to the playoffs than we do under the Cowleys. In fact I dont think Pompey have a hope in hell. I a...

Re: Charlton

The more I think of it I can't believe the Cowleys started with the team they did. Then having got to half time and seen how we were being outplayed, they didn't make a change. 71 mins on the clock before they made changes. Blind Linesmen dont help but it happens, they were by far the better team un...

Re: Ben Thompson on his way

Had a look at his Millwall appearances or rather lack of. Until 2 weeks ago he hadn't featured since a league cup loss in September. 15th Jan however he came on at half time, due to 2 injuries in midfield, in a 1.0 loss at home to Notts Forest. Last week back to being an unused sub in a 1.0 defeat a...
